Based on trade studies, the green laser can project a more visible beam while still maintaining eye safety. It has an expected range of over 30 miles at night, and up to 3 miles in daylight.
It's waterproof, rugged design combines the safety of a laser signaling device with the convenience of a flashlight. Unlike flares, the Green Rescue Laser Flare Ž is non-flammable, non-hazardous and can operate continuously for over five hours on a long-life replaceable CR 123 battery.
