This is a unique, portable hyperbaric chamber for the treatment of Acute Mountain Sickness. By increasing air pressure around the patient, the Bag simulates descent of as much as 7,000 feet, thus relieving AMS symptoms. The Bag is constructed of durable nylon and reinforced with circular nylon straps. A lengthwise zipper permits access and egress for the patient, and 4 clear windows allow visual contact. The Bag is pressurized with ambient air to 2 pounds per square inch by use of a foot pump. Everything fits into a red pack with carrying handle, shoulder strap, and backpack straps.

Please download, complete and fax the Rental Reservation & Agreement form to us at 970.375.6343. We require either a credit card number or check for $1300 as a security deposit. We will charge your card or expect a check or money order for the full amount of the rental period 30 days prior to the ship date (or immediately if you need the bag within 30 days). Rental rates are based on the time period it is out of our office, including ship time out and back. For rental periods longer than three months, please contact us for pricing. Please note, an air compressor is also available for rent at additional cost.
A doctor's prescription is required for rental. Gamow Bag is also available for purchase in
