Responder Gauze is a 6-ply cotton gauze, conveniently z-folded and can be used to treat moderate to severe wounds involving heavy blood loss.
Responder Gauze is vacuum packed small for easy storage yet expands to cover large wound areas. This Gauze can be used to control hemorrhage in conjunction with a compression bandage, used as a backing gauze for hemostatic dressings or for minor wound bandaging. Its low cube space requirement and rugged, durable vacuum sealed packaging make it easy to fit in both individual first aid kits and medic kits. This product has numerous applications: Pack wounds, testing shows packed cotton is highly effective in slowing and stopping bleeds. Clean and absorb fluids to prep for minor operations. Wrap limbs to protect wounds. Works great with Responder Bandage/compression bandage. Can be made into Arm slings, head wraps and various other uses.
