It combines advanced, adjustable air-activated warming grids with the Thermal Patient Litter System. The APLS Life Guard Litter System, included in this set, is a portable, disposable litter providing essential thermal protection during emergency transport. Its Mylar lining retains body heat, while a highly absorbent pad wicks fluids away from the patient. This compact litter system is designed for quick deployment and efficient use in critical situations.
The HAWK™ Warming Grid activates in minutes, delivering consistent heat for 4 to 32 hours, depending on therapeutic needs. It maintains the ideal temperature and includes a simple shut-off capability for precise control. The Thermal Patient Litter System supports weights up to 350 lbs, features a treated nylon backing for wind and moisture protection, and includes a detachable Mylar-lined hood. Packaged in a vacuum-sealed, ruggedized package, it can retain up to 1.5 liters of blood and bodily fluids, ensuring comprehensive patient protection.
