Suture Strip® Plus has the flexibility to allow the strips to elongate and yield to the movement of skin. These compliant wound closure strips approximate the modulus of the skin to distribute the forces evenly and prevent the concentration of forces at the proximal end and minimize the chances of traction blisters.
Suture Strip Plus is ideal for surgical wound closure of surface tissue as well as common traumatic wound closure, such as skin tears. The latex-free, skin-friendly adhesive minimizes the chance of an allergic skin reaction, and is also water-resistant so the strips will continue to adhere if exposed to moisture.
