A Total Seal for Penetrating Chest Injuries, Chest Exit Wounds and multiple wounds when used in conjunction with the Bolin or Asherman Chest Seal. In other words you can use this to seal the exit wound of a chest injury with an Asherman or Bolin chest seal covering the chest wound. Also for sealing other chest wound injuries when a Bolin or Asherman are being used.
The vacuum sealed package has a sterile 6" x 8" polyurethane rectangle, sponge and super-adhesive layer on the seal.
1. Remove Wound Seal from outer wrap.
2. Wipe wound area with included gauze pad.
3. Using tab, open Wound Seal and apply to wound.
4. Smooth and apply pressure to Wound Seal for full sealing around wound.
