Chinook designed this module to be worn between the canine’s back and its tactical harness, which provides the canine handler with rapid access to lifesaving canine treatments while reducing the equipment load. This module is intended to treat immediate life-threatening canine injuries during the first 15 minutes until definitive care or treatments can be accessed.
Field tests with military handlers and operators revealed no negative effects or changes in canine behavior as a result of wearing this module.
